Shark Tank India is a Hindi-language business reality TV show on Sony Entertainment Television in India. The show is the Indian version of the American TV show Shark Tank. It shows business owners pitching their ideas to a group of investors, or “sharks,” who decide whether or not to fund the business.
From December 20, 2021, until February 4, 2022, Shark Tank India season 1 broadcast on Sony LIV and Sony Entertainment Television.
Beginning on January 2nd, 2023, Shark Tank India season 2 premiered on Sony LIV and Sony Entertainment Television. Amit Jain, CEO and co-founder of the CarDekho group and InsuranceDekho.com, is the new Shark for the second season. The season’s host is Rahul Dua.
On the programme, a group of potential investors known as “Sharks” listen to entrepreneurs pitch their ideas for new ventures or products.
These self-made billionaires make decisions about whether to invest their own funds to coach and advertise each competitor after evaluating the business ideas and goods provided.
